So, who's excited about the new Minecraft Beta updates? ;D

Pistons, Shears, and modified TNT triggers-- oh my!

Yes, the tnt is now only activateable by redstone and fire. Which makes it removable by hand :d

Yep. TNT is only activated by redstone mechanics and/ or flame

Now there is a use for slimeballs-- Sticky pistons. Difference between pistons and sticky pistons-- regular pistons just push blocks aside, while sticky pistons actually pull along the blocks as they go. Useful for making advanced doorways, dams, and even as clever traps :D

And tree leaves are now a collectible item, thanks to the shears.

Beating up a sheep won't give you wool anymore-- you can now only use shears to collect wool, but now you get more wool (up to 4 blocks of wool max per sheep)

I made a bedrock door. What it does is I have a lever hooked up to some redstone, and it activates 2 pistons that push a bedrock door in.

They're gonna change that. Cause then you can move the last level of bedrock and fall through the floor? I don't know how it works i haven't played in a while so im not sure.

i think the new update sucks except for pistons-.-(wich came from another mod)
all the good things notch is implenting he takes from other mods,and then he adds some more
unnecessairy stuff every update(do we really need shears??)
Notch is getting lazy.

shears = collectable leaves = tree houses that actually look good

In the proscess of modifying my mob spawn trap, instead of lava killing them i wanna squash em with pistons, or a pistion & redstone repeater curcuit to make a lava squirt fall on em ;P

I like how u can collect missplaced tnt now

And i dont like the sheep thing D=
