I am kinda disappointed that there most likely wont be any mod support for BF3 since BF2 project reality mod is the greatest FPS i have ever played.

I do believe that BF3 will be covering a lot of the aspects of the reality mod anyway.

No, project reality was about realism. As much as people want to believe it, BF3 is not about realism. Is it more realistic than most shooters? Yes. But it doesn't come close to say arma 2 or project reality.

The frostbite 2.0 engine would be too hard to mod so they said for right now they will not release mod tools for it.

i believe battlefield 3 will be better. better multiplayer community, (all the immature will be playing "cod" because thy can say it quickly to their friends and make it sound cool)
the MASSIVE maps are back! 128 players on a map at once FTW!
and to be honest, cod has survived too long. it is the same thing over and over again. literally. i mean, the last 3 games are about russians, before that it was germans. theyre all about explosions, impossible feats, and shooting anything that moves. atleast battlefield has some tactics and squad based stuff.
(this is all in my opinion, dont want to start a flame war. but i guess the topic itself is a flame war xD hahaha)

Just played the BF3 beta, have to say i am not impressed. Was it fun? Yes. But it just felt like a more polished BC2. Maybe because they only have a 32 player map with minimum vehicles for the beta map. BC2 had amazing sound and BF3 sounds seem mediocre. I will still be buying this when it comes out, but i was hoping for more from this beta.

AWWWW SHIT!!!!!.
I found the password for the Caspian border map (its on testing (PC only)), I tried it out, F**KING intense, after playing that, I do NOT want to go back to metro :/
sadly, the password expired and there is now a new one...

You guys really need to try that out before your final opinion of Battlefield 3.

Ya, PC players have been complaining that metro is crap and i agree.

I want to point out to everyone that the BF3 open beta will be available tomorrow for ps3 and 360.

Operation Metro is nothing compared to  Caspian border. I have never had more fun in a video game then that round on CB. :/

I saw a video  (Link) of Caspian boarder, and although I must admit it looks very good, I do not know whether I will be getting battlefield, as none of the big FPS (CoD, BF) seem very casual player friendly (I may play 1 hour a week, possibly) but I don't know... If prices go down a lot...
