1.9 Pre Release :o!

Yeah, i really have no idea why they didn't do all the generator updates in one go, this way is really annoying for server admins.

1.9 Generator changes swamp biomes, adds snow biomes, updates nether, and changes stronghold generation. There is obviously a whole lot more added, but those are the changes that will affect the map.

Optic, if you have the big brother plugin, you can go to areas that noone has touched, and reset it to the seed. This will set it to the 1.8 style byomes.

Indeed, but the terrain around it will not match up at all, which is the issue.

Ill stay loyal, and arm my self with more patience..

Just hard when you have big plans and cant make em a reality yet

Btw, just a small thing ive been made aware of..

Locked doors atm are useless, they can  be bypassed with a redstone torch placed infront of it,. Not sure if your aware of this, or able to do anything about it..

They can also be bypassed with a pressure plate, but u should have all your chests and furnaces locked anyway so it doesn't really matter.

They can also be bypassed by digging around it then placing the blocks back when you're done.

Well, only reason i mentioned it, is that it often says in the chat, that we have to make sure to lock door's. This is kinda pointless when the doors can be bypassed..

Maby then delete the remark about locking doors since its pointless..
