As for RAM, more is always better. Assuming it's triple channel and actually configured to run at a decent speed. You'd be surprised how many people spend big bucks on 1600mhz overclocker memory just to run it at 800mhz because they assumed their computer would auto-configure it lol.
Anyone know what a good price would be for it, if I were to sell it?
If its a gtx 295 (which you should make sure lol) It is an older card but still a pretty damn good card. It is actually 2 gpu's in a single card.

Wiiiiin.Or just buy another gtx 295 and run SLI. Slightly less win.
1 GTX 580 maxes most games to date so both of those options are really overkill.
