If you are not the one involved in the situation, please do not make a reply to it, as you have
absolutely no right nor excuse to reply to an open appeal. If you have good, supportive evidence or any useful information regarding the ban (
whether it goes with or against), you have the right to post.
Our definition of
Direct Involvement means that you are the culprit/ victim, or an acquaintance with the culprit/ victim with express knowledge of the situation regarding the ban.
- [He/She] is my [brother/sister/relative/friend]
- [He/She] deserves to be unbanned
- I want to play online with [him/her]
- [He/She] has not done anything wrong
... will NOT work. Please don't try any of those on us. This also falls under the "
No Excuses" rule, outlined below.
We have constantly reminded people, in the past, not to reply to appeals that they are not involved with, yet we find that has not really changed. It is not professional and it does NOT help the appealing process at all when they are being littered with useless, off-topic, or irrelevant replies. Please, let us handle the appeals here-- we investigate everything and we do not need random, uninvolved people posting.
I suppose another warning won't help, but maybe suspending people will.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO OTHER USERS' BAN APPEALS IF YOU ARE NOT INVOLVEDIf you choose to ignore this warning and post anyway, expect to receive a temporary forum suspension.
This rule applies to members of staff as well. Unless given express permission, only staff members that have issued the ban or that have adequate knowledge of the situation may reply to appeals.
