Although I couldn't understand one word of the soldier guy (Main character), that was pretty awesome. But could anyone translate his speach for me?
I loved it apart from that though, best part had to be the Little Big Planet guy playing chess

Depends on how you look at it: What made this commercial really something else was how they compiled all the playstation exclusive heroes together, and the way they did it (at a pub/bar) made it that much more amazing. No other commercial has really done something like that.

I see it from the point, that It wasn't something really smart.
All the known heroes, are fake. So, they decided to collect them in a pub/bar. Here in Greece, we don't have Pubs, so maybe it is my culture that doesn't let me to process that idea into my mind.
No other commercial? I haven't seen all the commercials to be sure on that.

Yeah, there are a lot of non-exclusive characters in there.  I can't say I know all of them but it was definitely cool recognizing the ones I did.  

Fun fact: A lot of the people there playing the characters were the actual voice actors

Of course they are fake... they are video game characters. Just cause Greece doesn't have pubs doesn't mean they don't exist either.
