Of course I feel sorry for Omar. He lost a close friend. I have lost also one when I was in elementary school.

The dead person is dead and gone. The alive person is left with a traumatic experiance. I feel sorry that he died, but not his life. I feel more sorry for Omar, his family, and his friends family.

Omar I can't even begin to imagine what you must be going through right now, just remember that everything happens for a reason, and someone up there decided it was his time. Don't ever blame yourself for what happend. You truly have my condolences.

Like some of the above said, don't blame yourself, in the end it all comes to that. Even if he died in such way, he's in a better place now. The only thing to do now is go on with your life and don't forsake his memory, remember all the good times you had with him and cherish them.
