What do you guys think of S.O.P.A.?

It's pretty scary if you ask me.
I hope this really doesn't go through.
It might actually start a civil world war.

The point is: All user sharing sites won't work the same at all. Not even user content, like videos , pictures etc... But ideas you might have, could get you in trouble if you share them on the internet. it's really.... i don't even have words.

I'm terrified, and I don't even live in the U.S.. If the bill were ever to pass, it would no doubt give Harper and the right wing government an incentive to support a similar bill here in Canada.

Fortunately, websites such as wikipedia and google are totally against SOPA, and are planning "blackouts" as support for anti-SOPA. So is reddit-- it seems everday now redditors are targeting bill supporter-congressman and practically forcing them to withdraw their support in SOPA.

I dont think it will pass. There are too many protesters (Im one. ) and they will start a riot. This law will put the world in chaos, run people out of business, and be incredibly inconvenient. DeviantART (art website I always use), youtube, facebook, all my manga reading sites, they'll be destroyed. And people will go nuts.

If this bill passes I will lose all hope for the United States (from what little hope I have left..). This bill would truly change the face of North America, and eventually the entire world as countries would try to imitate.

Exactly, I am not in the U.S. either (even though I'm still U.S. Territory) But the whole world would be affected, since most of the big web pages and stuff around the world house their servers in the U.S.

I guess this is why the world will end in 2012.

Nah, joking aside I am terrified, and even though I'm sure we can overcome this bill, It still gives me chills (that line was not taken from Dr. Seuss)

Most of the older senators have know clue what sopa is really about... They hear" It blocks pornography" and there all for it. Most of them that do this don't even use the internet.

The scariest part is If it does get passed it will shutdown not only block pornography, but also block any sight against the government. It will affect sights like: Youtube, reddit, 4chan, Wikipedia, Google, Bing, and many others.
