This, hasn't happened to me. I think they stay there for about 2 mins. I belive in some cases its enough time to get back there and to get them back.

Your scattered inventory will disappear after 5 minutes if they are not recovered. But that's not the problem people are having, they are saying their items are just vanishing once they return to their death spot. I never though this was possible when people were telling me, but this then happened to me, and I can assure you I returned to my death in about 15 seconds, items *gone*

That has happened to me TWICE!!! D:  At first I simply thought that it was because I wasn't reaching my stuff in time, but since it happened on two occasions in which I made it back relatively quickly and got SOME stuff back but not all which was weird.....(I lost so many iron ores and diamonds that way @_@)

My armor and an apple stayed but things like ores, cobble, and dirt were gone.  BTW cause of death both times were creeper explosions (could the creeper explosion nullification thingy be erasing items too?)

Just to clarify (because I think there is some confusion ) I died by creeper on two seperate occasions (meaning the time I died by creeper again wasn't in the proximity of the time I was blown up the first time)  I'm saying that when I lost my items the death just happens to be by creeper.

Every time I have died to a creeper My stuff has still been there. I just died at Persianskitty's house and when I got back (I came back straight away) it was all gone, Persian didn't take any of it.

I believe you all now when you say stuff disappears. x.x

It has yet to happen to me. Creepers blow up items, so in order to avoid this, dont die by a creeper.

So your saying that a single creeper will blow up you and your items (no bug exists)? Then why does it only happen to some of the loot and why does it not happen to everyone all the time?

Your saying that no one cares to recreate the issue so the bug will not be fixed and if you dont want to lose your items then dont die to creepers.

Second of all, I recreated this 3 times, I gave myself 30 coal, 30 stone, and 30 cobblestone. The first time when i died i got 3 coal back. The second time i got none of my items back, the third time i got 12 coal and all 30 stone and cobblestone back. Whether or not that is a glitch, or if creepers actually blow them up can be debated.

So before you assume that "no one cares to recreate the issue" maybe ask if we have recreated it.

Well this post is completely opposite of the post i quoted where you stated that this yet to happen to you. So it has happened to you in the above scenarios and you have now shared this information with the community so people can stop posting in this thread trying to figure out whats going on.

That's what I thought before Opticraft, but I have always got everything back... Maybe I was just lucky.
