well this one's probably pretty common but its awesome if you want a nice medieval-ish look to minecraft. The texture pack is called Dokucraft. It comes in 3 packs: light dark and high. I personally love the color scheme of light but it doesnt matter

I like the Painterly pack. You get to customize it how you want. I love it. Its the only one I use.

I dont use texture packs, even if I have some.

I use SMP's Revival.
It's very simple, it's basically how Minecraft should look like.
I have shown it to some people in the server and they really liked it, even stuck with it.
