Banned for x-ray mod even though i wasn't going to use it for any benifits

I would first like to say that I was not going to use the x-ray mod for any benefits on my part at all. I was merely testing that the plug-in for anit-x-ray plug-in was working. I used it and reported to the mods that the x-ray plug-in wasn't working (since nothing happened). Then, about 1 minute later  when I was in the middle of talking to the mods, I was kicked from the server. When I attempted to rejoin, it said I was banned for 4 days. I had merely thought the x-ray mod wouldn't function under the plug-in, and didn't realize (until it was too late) that it would just ban you. I'm truly sorry about my inconsiderable actions and would like my ban to be removed.

I was using it for SP. Anyways, that isn't the problem, I was inconsiderate and attempted to make sure the plug-in was working without thinking.

Apart from Optifine, which is an exception.

I know, but at that point I thought that the server would simply block it. I wasn't going to use it for any real purpose and was even talking about how the plug-in didn't work to the ops after I turned it off. (BTW I think Nick must have mistranslated my meaning of "I'm using it right now." I meant that I had just turned it on and off and it had worked. I then reported it to the ops.)

How would he be sure that you turned it off though? He won't be able to babysit you all day to make sure you don't use it either.

Some other servers use x-ray to see what is going on UNDER THE GROUND(to cacht Tunnel grieffers).not always for cheating...

The anti-xray has problems.. it will show diamonds first but 3secs later it will turn into stone(Many players believed that diamond are forbidden in the first time)Now they turned off for a while. Maybe they fixing it
later.

Anyone could use it by what your saying, they just wouldn't have to say anything about it and cover up their holes with baked stone and dirt. The point is is that there is a plug-in that's supposed to block it. That way the ops don't have to "babysit" you. I noticed that the plug-in stopped working when today I tested it. Therefore, I reported it to the ops so they could fix it. In a way, I was trying to help them. I had no intentions what so ever, to be using it for my benefit. In other words, I was "debugging" the server.

Maybe they see the light to unban you because you don't know that the A-Xray is off for a while

Kinda Informed them after I tested it. But didn't have enough time to clear my name since he banned me after I only got a few sentences out. You're right though, I should have got their input on it first.

just because you reported that you have a weapon, doesn't mean you're not going to use it.

That's what i assume nick thought, "just because you have Xray, and told me you have it, it doesn't mean you won't use it to break the rules"
