Nope.

Trusted is just a glorified  orange-colored member. Plus trusted doesn't even have a rank on the forums. Nor do we need one. We have far too many trusteds to rank them all up on the forums.

Even if we did have a trusted forum rank, it doesn't need stars.

P.S. I will allow the addition of the developer rank if it does indeed exist. So long as they do the research on what they can do on the forums before posting.

What is harder to get, trusted, or builder?

They are two different kinds of ranks. Trusted is a rank on SMP given to you by staff to show that they now trust in you. They trust you as the person who won't cause trouble. It isn't that hard to get it either. Just be outgoing and talk to people. Be a visible member of the community. And most importantly, be someone we can trust. I can guarantee newly joined players can achieve trusted in less than a month by doing this (Results may vary).

Builder is a building rank on Classic. After getting promoted to recruit, you can build some builds that were even better than your recruit builds. You then make an application on the forums with screenshots of your builds and apply for builder. The builds have to be REALLY good. Many members who have asked to be promoted to recruit already find it hard to get recruit. Just imagine how hard builder is. You have to put a good amount of effort.

In terms of power, trusteds and recruits are the most similar. My main reason is that they are both granted water.


Trusted rank doesn't need special treatment as many trusteds seem to think. Its just an orange colored member. That's it.

Only Dejected will know this exactly but I am guessing access to SMP staff forums, access to forums admin panel, 5 blue stars and a green name.

Contrary to popular belief, developers do not in fact have access to admin-only forums.

It seems only guest/recruits can do what you stated for them anyone besides staff (Builders and Crafters) can NOT lock their own topics or delete their posts

In theory, they all should. It doesn't make sense to me why they don't.

However, I thank you for the input. I will investigate why this is. And perhaps ask if this can be changed so as to accomadate all ranks. Or accomadate staff only ranks.

At the moment, the highest post count on the forums is currently held by a very dedicated Nick3306 with a grand count of 2852 posts.

But I really don't think it matters, people will get the idea.
