Iron golems survies a house of hut of tnt!

No,there very friendly. They attack mobs,it's basically a bigger,better and stronger version of a snow golem.

They only attack you if you attack them or an NPC

Iron golems are big mobs that represent the Robots from the film 'Laputa: the castle in the sky' (EPIC film)
They are the 'guardians' of the NPC villages and they keep mobs away. Sometimes, they pick up roses and offer them to baby NPC villagers. When killed, they will drop either iron ingots of roses. They are hurt from lava, fire, drowning and suffocation. They do not receive fall damage. They will lose health if even their head is stuck in a block due to suffocation.
They can do some serious damage, some doing instant death. They have 50 hearts

If anyone watched a good Minecraft commentator's video then they would have known that Iron Golems have 50 hearts.
Iron Golems don't Attack creepers because they are peaceful until provoked (Usually by the presence of the entity of player).
Creepers do as much damage as tnt which is around maybe 10 hearts.
