well basically he gets children to be in his army, makes them kill their parents, and makes the females become sex slaves.
essentially, he is being made into the modern day hitler, everyone is hearing about him and alot of people want him dead.

This is most likely a scam, The "charity" pockets half of all the donation money according to reports and they refuse to let anyone review their organization. No one knows if Kony is even still alive.

It is pathetic that people only start caring when it is popular to care. In a week everyone will forget all about this. This is a terrible thing that is happening yes, but this is not the right way to support it.

Interestingly enough, invisible children came to our school. It was this year's charity effort and the entire school raised about $97,000 i believe. It all went to invisible children, who apparently plan to use the money to create a radio tower in uganda and convince the child army that "everything is all right" through the use of children who escaped.

It might be interesting to point out, that even representatives from Uganda have told the press that the LRA (Kony's army)activity has ceased already.

They keep about 70% of the donations and send 30% over to help the kids in Africa. I'm also sick of everyone posting 'kony 2012' on youtube videos.

About the blackout, they are basically encouraging vandalism, telling people to go put up posters everywhere, this is doing more harm than good, it is costing OUR government to take down your mess, if you don't, kony isn't even harming our economy.

It's all bullshit. I think it is a scam.

Not only that, but the "help" that the charity is sending over actually helps a the Government over there - people who use kids for violence and have ruined thousands more lives than Joseph Kony himself.  Gotta start with the root of the problem - he didn't get to be that big of a criminal without a LOT of help from his local, loving and caring government.  That video just cries "give us your money, and we won't do shit!"
