Does anyone know if this server allows WaterShader mod, if not may i know as to why it isnt allowed?

Water shader for Classic? Moved to SMP Support.
No mods allowed except for Optifine, period.
There is no reason given for every single mod, it's just the rules.
There would be way to many people asking if certain mods are allowed, and too many people that could edit harmless mods to become more advanced, such as xrays etc.

About the water shader. I still think it should be allowed, it just does the same thing as optifine does, it just changes water graphics instead.

There are many good mods which we aren't allowed to use, I have complained about this before.

Makes the water in-game look realistic.

It changes the water graphics, adds reflections to the water and it makes water look like it has waves.

No its for those who want to improve the look of the game.

It is basically the same as a texture pack, but is considered a mod because of the way in which it needed to be made. I do agree it should be allowed, but I also understand why if it isn't.
