Hmm mine craft is a super awesome game but it is missing a lot of things. One of those things is a door. Sure u can make a door out of blocks but I'm talking about doors that open and close when you click on it or something. I know you can do that if you PAID for mine craft but still everyone should be able to do it! Please comment if you agree or disagree!!!! Thank You for taking your time to read this

Minecraft classic is the "Before Beta Came Out" version. This cannot be implemented unless Notch or Jeb plans on updating Classic (which is very unlikely)

Classic doesn't get updated.

However, there are server plug-ins for things like this.  But I highly doubt this will be added.  It's been suggested before, too.

Well I just really think it should be added not only to the PAID version but also the non PAID version and it should also be added in multiplayer.

Then I suggest you send Jeb an email and ask him to add doors

Locked. Doors cannot be implemented to the server-- that is not within our ability. Mojang staff are the only ones that can do this, and updating Classic is at the lower end of their list of priorities at this time.

As Your_Mine stated, feel free to give the staff at Mojang a tweet or email regarding this, though it may receive the same response.
