Grief And Staff

i'm making this topic because of prices on protection blocks and staff members, today at 22:20 i was griefed they stole redstone and my sticky piston witch i went though hell to get, any way i think most people who spend there time should not have to pay 1,500 for 1 tiny protection i think prices should be lowered and more mods made i was calling for a mod for 5 minutes and nothing this is just my opinions of what i think is wrong with the server apart from that it is fun and i was wondering if somebody could fix my house?

The reason they are not cheap, is to prevent access to the "lowbies". Imagine a griefer comes into the server. This griefer is 1 in a million, smarter than the rest, and realises what he could do with a ps. It is on sale, so he mines some iron, and buys diamond protection. He just has to place it, to screw over many people inside those 97336 blocks. See what I mean?- this is what clawstrider said he is correct ... just work on the server and gain the money to buy a PS

You aren't the only player nor the only one that gets griefed and needs help, did you even use /helpop?
Expecting an instant response is expecting too much. Go mining for an hour and you should have enough for a protection stone.
You need to be patient.

The prices of the protection stones have lowered their prices (from $2000 for a coal and $90000 for a diamond (i think) anyway, you are lucky. You do get a free protection stone for signing up to Opticraft

Theyre not expensive...after 2 weeks I had a melon farm up and running that could pump out 2 mediums a day (at least, and im horrible at remembering to harvest) the first few are hell, but just go get iron or go outside east town and farm trees for wood planks. Two minecraft days and you can easily have small ps

I think ps are properly priced...it really isn't that much money. I would recommend voting and then selling the diamonds and you'll be there in no time... Good luck

Yeah, Sorry about my rant and i understand that i know of this server where protection blocks are 5$ and you start off with 50 i went on be for i found Opticraft that tock the mick!

I agree, it's relatively easy to get the coal protection stones.  Within a week I had over 10 of them just due to collecting and selling on the market.  Easiest way to get a good start (if you can't get a melon farm going right away) is find iron and smelt it into blocks.  I think 4 blocks of iron, not that hard a task to collect, is enough to get you a stone and some melon seeds.  From there, just build yourself a small melon farm using the stone you got when your registered and the stone you just purchased and harvest till you can expand it further.  A 22x11 melon farm should net you a stack of melon blocks in under half an hour.  If you're devoted to it, you can probably easily have a small stack of coal protection stones within your first day.
