New World In SMP for [Trusted]

To answer many questions at once:

• Having a world for every rank would put a serious strain on the server bandwidth, which constitutes to more lag. Also, it would increase the number of needless questions that can be easily answered just by browsing the forums (a la 'how do I get Trusted?').
• The new world will be the one for new players to join (which will have all the current 1.2 biomes implemented instead of being overshadowed by the 1.1 landmasses)
• Lots of clean-up will be done on the old world during the conversion, so out with the Very old, and in with the new. Not sure how it could be done without using regeneration though...

I doubt that we will have any creative world implemented, since this is to remain a Core SMP server-- however, an idea I do have if that were to be brought in here is to have some sort of a small "Sandbox" world for all players to build and host building events/ contests in.

Xeadin there is a option to do this what you say.But its opticals thing.........Split the server(2 hostname's)But its cost a whole hand so i think not he do this

Whoa, whoa... we'd rather not complicate the whole thing even further. We need to keep it in one general location.

Switching between two different SMP servers is not an option at this point

Anyways, I think it will be an excellent implementation. The only thing is, I'm gonna miss showing off to the noobs

One downside though is that a ton of people are going to ask to be trusted, and it would get annoying. But if it's not an issue to you, by all means go ahead. I'm not saying it will be a large or small issue, just saying it might occur.
