I have. Twice now and I still think they want us to auto farm them. Until the price is driven further down, it would be much cheaper to make an auto farm than actually buy them. There is no fair market value, so optical can charge whatever he wants for them, creating the option of auto farming where all you need to buy are seeds.

definitely not a couple of hours, it takes a lot of time, preparation, and money to create the automatic farms....

Well, I mean the people that have large, manual farms already installed. It's a whole other story when we discuss automatic farms. The press of a button, and, depending on the size of the farm, a hell of a lot of stacks of melons comes out. Really, on OptiCraft, with the right determination and  skill, a person can become a millionare quite quickly.

I've spent close to 150-200k in materials on my melon farm, and on a good day I can net maybe 20k an hour. So quick millionare, no.. Before the price reduction and my last upgrade to it's size I made about 200k in 2 days worth of farming. Those 2 days meant sitting there doing almost nothing while waiting for melons to spawn. It's not like those of us that have auto farms can spend time building stuff while money magicly flows at us. We spend a lot of money and time making and farming to get our farms to make a decnet gain.

I'm not against the price change at all, I just wish the people that are complaining knew what kind of work went into the farms before crying about not having money.. I started playing this server a couple weeks ago and have almost 500k, I've even given away nearly half of that amount. So the excuse that new people can't get anywhere doesn't apply to this server.

Let me rephrase that. A person can become a millionare in a little while with this method. Also, good job with the giving away of money. People must love you in that aspect. Helping out people withnthe econom is an awesome trai to have.
