Why you should become a moderator: I could say what everyone else says. I could say ‘I love this server’ and ‘I hate grief and spam’ and many of the other typical things you’d expect me to say. I mean yes, it’s still true but everyone says that. I will admit however that I haven’t been here very long, that’s a given and a true fact. I am seriously considering how I write this application and I’ll do my best not to ramble on or give you too much of a wall of text to read.

My reasoning for sitting down and writing this out to eventually send to you is to help. I have regular times I’m on. You’d catch me most evenings my time sitting around and wasting time on minecraft. I see one moderator and an operator on constantly and other moderators pop in for brief periods. I’d honestly like to help that one moderator and operator out who seem to be handling a massive amount of work. They put in a lot of work all by themselves some nights with only the odd hand helping them out, I think it’s about time they had some of the weight taken off their shoulders.

I do have experience moderating, I was a moderator on a well populated server(50+ at normal times up to over 100+ on rush days) for 9 months. I retired from the position and quit that server shortly after Christmas due to wanting to check out my priorities and get them all straightened out. I’m straightened out now and I’ve found a new home here. I fully understand the stress load and I understand that it isn’t ‘work whenever I want and ignore people when I want to play’. I fully get that this is volunteering my time. I understand whenever I am on this server I am expected to work to help out others problems and keep the chaos down.

So getting that lengthy part out of the way I’ve run out of points to make. I hope you consider this application seriously and can garner at least some of my feelings toward this. I’d also like to give a shout out to all the staff and hope you keep trucking on for the sake of the server. If there is anything you’d like to inquire about from what I’ve said just send me a private message.
