As mayor of the city i try my very best to make a happy and peaceful community for the residents with the rapid increase of
population and the staggering number of residents 20+ and the growing popularity of the city i find it even harder to keep all the peace. the hardest thing to keep safe is the cow/colored sheep pens.

1) i have ps stones protecting the pen
2) its completely walled in.
3) they always seem to die.
4) as many of you that are reading this probably know it is hard to find animals and on top of that breed them safely and make them the color of the rainbow.

i am simply asking if it would be to much to ask if someone could restore what i had. (40 sheep all colors of the rainbow). i know the usually answer is no. put seeing as how i have had to do it on my own 3 times already im getting sick and tired of it. this was only possible because the killer left a couple sheep. well not this time...so plz have a heart and help me out.

Oh. I just read the title. I was in a bit of a hurry.

heres what I've noticed, animals will go through walls, and wander off, they get out if there isnt a roof, and if u notice they huddle in corners, when enough of them do, the go through the wall. Not quite sure why but this protects the corners somehow, i left 10 mooshroom in this room for 2 weeks, all still there lol.

thanks for the tip. but this is not the problem seeing as how i had a roof and they been  safe for about 2 weeks with out any problem. they were deff killed not strays.

make an secret arc of noah somewhere hidden, with 2 animals of all kinds on it 
then you can always resupply the death animals on the surface

I had a very similar problem before I completely ditched my livestock farm for greifing reasons. But recently I figured out that even if there is a PS, the "desperate" greifers can briefly break the wall that is inside of the PS zone, and if the sheep is in the right position, the greifer can hit the animal. So tabooti, I would try double layering the pen. Could you tell me if this is what you were looking for?Plz also tell me if this works if you try it out. Thx.

thanks for all the tips. but i rally hope someone that can rollback animals or spawn new ones takes this into consideration. in my eyes rolling back a griefed house is the equal to rolling back greifed animal farms.

Unforunately, animals/ mobs are not tracked on a log that blocks/ entities are logged on, so we have no way we can find out who did what to any mob/ animal.

okay... so the reason why you cant spawn animals is because. you dont know if they were there before? well i  can ensure you that they were ask other mods they saw all my sheepies.
btw i dont really care who did it. i just would like the sheep back

Unforunately, animals/ mobs are not tracked on a log that blocks/ entities are logged on, so we have no way we can find out who did what to any mob/ animal.

This also means we can't replace any killed animals.  If you find griefing (how they got in to your pen) then we can repair the griefing and ban those involved, but we still can't validate numbers or replace any missing animals.  Sorry.
