Minecraft not connecting

I have no idea why, but as soon as i tied to log into minecraft to come play, it says minecraft cant connect to minecraft.net. Can anybody help?

This is happening to me too! I hope Mojang does something, I want to get back to what I was doing in opticraft

thank Jesus I'm not the only one. for a second I thought my router blew out again. BTW that would have been my 3rd router gone.

Luck has nothing to do with it... I stay away from cheap "for home use" brands like Belkin, Linksys, and DLink.  I go straight to corporate-style Cisco routers.  Those suckers are almost impossible to kill.

Thats the first router i had was a cisco, the 2nd was a belkin, this one, which has lasted the longest is a linksys.

Cisco and Linksys are the same thing... But if it's one of the "For home use" ones, they're crap.  You need a server router (can plug like 20 cables into it) and you'll almost never have to replace the dam thing.  I've had mine for almost 10 years now.
