So i was just walking around and saw a house, me in my curious ways wanted to see what was inside. As I break the dirt blocks around me i notice that they weren't dropping anything so i assumed, lag or protection. So I though i could get a peak at the inside if I broke some blocks quickly and then scramble inside before my minecraft catches up i could see inside for a quick second. Well before i could try my run i was banned. Should I really be banned for thinking that i had lag?

It says that you do not exist. Is this appeal for SMP or Classic?

What? No i was playing on SMP. I had around $2,000 or so.

He does, indeed, have a record on our SMP server. Moved to SMP Ban Appeals
As for the reason of your ban:
It appears as though that you have triggered one of our grieftraps. It takes at least 5 destroyed blocks for it to trigger a ban-- otherwise, any less and it does nothing, so the classical "1- or 2-block grief" will not work as an excuse in this case.
It should serve as a warning that you should think twice before modifying structures that you did not create. Why did you decide to continue?
If you have a good reason for this, I may consider lowering the ban, but NO LESS. You are still at fault for griefing in the first place, and the grieftraps do not catch false positives.

Sorry didn't see that I was in the creative support, but hold on, I automatically assumed it was lag due to no blocks were being dropped, and that what ever i mined would repair it self, as it has many cases when i have been building. It was a unintentional grief.
