How about a list of items where we can find the weekly ideal prices for items? It should be good for the people who are new to server or people like me who doesn't know at which price we should sell slimeballs.

As prices are constantly fluctuating based on availability and desire, this would be quite impossible unless there was a full time reporting device on all transactions, which there isn't and will never be.
But it would be nice if possible. :/

I think you should just sell by whatever you want. There is no set price, you can do whatever you want with them. :P

There are some rough prices that things are likely to sell for (on average) but it's the same as real life really. People will buy things over the odds if they really need them or can't be bothered to barter. On the flip side of that, items will sell cheaper if the seller is desperate for cash or if the buyer is buying in bulk they'll usually expect a discount.
Visit peoples shops, check their prices and ask around. Ignore all the prices that you see at the market, no one is gonna buy a diamond, or any other item (excluding glowstone) for the extortionate price the market sells them at.
You'll soon get an idea of when you're getting a good/bad deal.

This is the role of a salesman, to set a price. You take a look at what the material (or base materials) cost in the market and then you do a slight markdown (or markup for stupid customers) to bring customers to your door.
