Is silk touch disabled for all types of ore now (even those that aren't pstones)?

Yeah, it's to prevent exploits. the only ones you can use Silk touch on are: Iron and gold, and they don't require silk touch to get the ore.

Silk touch is seen as awesome but in reality, it is the worst enchantment. You really can't earn great money with silk touch, you only can mine glowstone for money and even that won't earn you much.

atdfbttl15, you are wrong.  You can't only sell glowstone for money.  You can sell mycelium, grass blocks, and other blocks with Silk Touch.

Silk touch is a good enchant. What if you need stone? You can get stone directly without having to smelt it. Opticraft isn't just about money you know. Not all tools in Opticraft are for money....

Then let's say it is not a good enchantment to buy if you want to earn money :)  If you can get it on your own then it is an excellent enchantment.

I guess Redstone is the one that threw me.  I didn't realize it was a Pstone since I didn't see it at the market.

Still happy to have silk touch especially since I didn't pay for it  :)

Thanks for the comments.

Since the price of mellons dropped, the silk touch is almost useless on mellons.
Some people waste silkt ouch on smooth stone which is the worst investment.
SOme others use it on glowstone. A few use glowstone lately, or they find their supply.

It may be disabled for members - as it is like putting water...
Maybe trusted WON'T be allowed, as ice= water in nether

Actually, ice will no longer create water in the nether in 1.3 that's why it was removed originally
