Hi,
Everyone is now able to set a second home on the SMP server, provided you have voted for us within the last 12 hours.
This will be useful for those of you who wish to move to the MemberWorld, but still have your home on the Guest world.
To set your new home, use /sethome <name>, where <name> is any name you like.
To access it, you can then use /home <name>.
To go to another players named home, use /home <player> <name>
To see all of your homes, or of another players, use /homes <name>.
To delete a home location, use /delhome <name>.
Additional homes are only available if you have voted in the last 12 hours. They are not erased, just disabled.
We will look at offering more homes for donation rewards in the future.

Finally here guys.
Go vote!!!
-
Superb way of getting more people to vote, well done.
-
+1
As if diamonds weren't good enough... Great reward for voting!
-
Yeah! Now I am happy that I vote! Now I am going back to vote daily!
-
YESH!
-
As most of the voting options only allow one vote every 24 hours, I suggest raising the time limit of this system to once every 24 hours to match.
-
Woohoo!!! Thanks opti!!! :D

I'm curious, what if two different people name the /home the same thing? What would happen? ( I doubt this would happen...Unless you name it something short like "A".)

There's top 100. That's why its 12 hours.
-
Also, not everyone votes exactly every 12 hours. I've never managed that. :/
At least 13 hours to make up the slight difference.

I'm with Zen here. If you vote at the wrong time, you can get locked out of your 2nd home for a bit.

I think it works something like this. Before the two homes, everyone had only one home which everyone used /home for. If the name thing was actually a problem, then we would've already had problems with different people setting their own homes. The server can recognize who is saying /home therefore eliminating that part of the question. Now for other people trying to access someone else's secondary home, I think you have to type /home <player> <name> which would therefore eliminate that problem as well. Hope this helped!

Yay, something else to vote for!

Sounds awesome!
Great to have a second home to keep in the old world. :)
-
So i Voted like 75 times and forgot to vote in the past day...... Why don't I get ONE
-
I set my new home in the member world near a place I found to build, then started building. now I wanted to set my new home inside my new home, but it says max number of homes reached if I try to reset the same name. I just did [/sethome 2] for temp starters, now it's acting like it's permanent. I suggest this be made changeable like normal /sethome
nevermind, i was introduced to /delhome command.
happy to have two!!!
thanks for new world too =D
-
I personally think this is a very good idea. A win win for everyone as the server gets more publicity and an advantage to the players as an extra set home and diamonds :)
Thanks Dewey
-
What happens if we miss one day of voting. Will we lose our second home completely or will it be disabled until we vote again?
-
Its just disabled until you vote again.
-
Yay!!! A brand new home fresh off of a new world! :D
-
;D WOW! I love it! You should let us have 4 though..... :P
but.... I LOVE IT!
-
More homes will come later as a donation package. THe when is TBA.
So, all of us, will stay at 2.
-
Sorry optical! I was on vacation and a move. So I wasn't able to get on at all during this time. I recently voted, so can that count? Because I was busy and I will be very sad if I cannot be allowed the benefits of second homing. Thanks! \

You can access your second home as long as you have voted in the last 12 hours, no matter what day.
