Title: How to log into minecraft.

You may get a "failed to verify username" or something that prevents you to log into a server.
Just click options and force update. Everything should be working fine and dandy after that. :D

+ internets? :D

I think Joining Opticraft until you get Communication Error, Then joining your Single Player World for 10 seconds, Then quit and you should be able to join Opticraft.

I've tried logging in over and over like 30 times now, tried reinstalling the staff JAR... Guess I'm gonna just have to do the force update and deal with not having the staff "tools" for now.

EDIT:  Check that...  10 tries with force update didn't work either.  Grrrr...


EDIT:  Finally got in... Sheesh!

Err, does force update delete all your Minecraft files?  :o

Force update wipes your current .jar file and replaces it with a fresh "vanilla" file. That's why you often see us saying to save backups of modded .jars if you use them for single-player or on other servers that require certain mods.

Also, I do believe this server issue is over with by now.
