Hello Opticraft! I have made a very simple, 2D version of Minecraft. It only has 2 blocks: dirt and water. Left click to place dirt. Middle click to remove dirt. Right click to place water. Water spreads when it is placed. Press W to remove all water. Press R to reset everything. The block highlighter is a little bit glitchy, but it is not too annoying and fixing this might cause other parts of the game to not work. This isn't really meant to be fun, it's just a test of my programming skills. Tell me what you think!

Hello, Opticraft! I have made another game - this time it's a tower defense game. Enemies will follow a path towards your base. Don't let them get there, or you'll lose a life! Stop them with towers. Left-click anywhere on the grass to place one. When an enemy comes in range, it will shoot it down! Each enemy requires 2 shots to be defeated. But be careful! Towers cost lots of money. Earn more money by defeating enemies and beating levels. If you want to sell a tower, right-click it. Those are the basics of a tower defense game!
Unlike my last game, this one can be fun. It took quite a bit of time to make, however. Known glitches: If 2 bullets from a tower hit an enemy at exactly the same time, the enemy will become invincible. I don't know how to fix this, so just be careful with your tower placement. Please give me some feedback in the form of a comment. Thanks!

You should make it so water stops at 7 blocks like it does in real minecraft. ;D oh and your second game is really awesome as well. You know it's good when people get addicted to it XD

That's an interesting idea, I'll think about adding it. Sadly, I probably won't be doing any more programming for a while, since school is about to start.

Because Mac sucks :P and my development software only allows me to save in .exe's. Have you tried Wine?

Nope. I used a language called GML. Visual Basic isn't really meant for games, more for applications. (I took a class on it)

Inertia is going along very well. I've finished 23 out of 40 levels (levels 19-24 are pretty gruesome to program). I can't say when I'll be finished, but I hope it will be before 2013. I'm also thinking about making an android or flash game next, haven't decided which yet.

Also, just saying, the full version has WAY more content than the demo.

I haven't updated this in a while, but I thought I should tell you that I have finished 39 levels, which means:
Only 1 more level!
That's right, it's almost done! I have 1 more level to make, then I have to set up the secret game mode (which should be pretty quick), add music, and then it's done! I'm sure you're just as anxious as I am to see it finished, but your wait is almost over! I'm pretty sure that I can have the game done within a week. As for setting up a bank account, a paypal account, etc, that should be (hopefully) pretty quick. Anyways, sorry for the rant, but I'm just very excited. Hopefully when I'm done I can get back to Classic; I miss you guys a lot! See you in a week!

ALL LEVELS ARE FINISHED!
Now, all I need to do is make the secret game mode, add a couple of things to the instructions, play with the level time saving, add music and sound effects, set up a bank account, set up paypal, and distribute!

Unfortunately, no. It's only free for people who helped beta-test. Still, the game costs as much as a Snickers, and it'll keep you satisfied for much longer.

To be utterly honest when I first saw this I automatically presumed it to be total crap due to my previous bias against you. But here I am today, watching your 'Lets Plays' and still enjoying watching the Creator of this indie game show off his skills in mastering what appear to be impossible levels.

Congrats on making such an enjoyable game. Good luck selling it also I hope to see more than non GIMP made sprites coming our way from you.

This is surprising to hear this. I am very glad that you enjoy my Let's Plays so much. Thank you for letting me know.

Edit: I can't guarantee this, but next weekend I will hopefully be setting up a savings account and Paypal. Don't expect anything, however. My father is very fickle.

I got it from my mother. No clue where she got it from.

Anyways, my dad finally visited the bank, and I have to be present to open an account. His schedule doesn't allow this to happen, and he is making no effort to make it work. I don't know if it will ever happen.

I don't understand, will the money be mailed to me or what?

Edit: Looks to me like the only other option is to use a credit or debit card. I possess neither.

Yes, and it looks like the only way to use it without a bank account is to have a credit or debit card. I have neither.

Basically the money will stay in your Paypal account until you spend it online or send it to a bank account.

Is anyone having trouble buying? I remember a while ago seeing that 5 people had seen the link, but 0 had bought it. I can't seen to find that statistic anymore, but still 0 people have bought it.
