I am a trusted and i was wondering how city protection works
is it like a large ps stone? or is it just an area like spawn where the blocks are protected

I don't think this belongs in Applications section, It should belong in Support I believe.

well i was lookin at some new forms of protecting my city and i just was thinkin bout applying but i'll repost it in support

Well if you app is accepted an admin will protect that city or area. Then to add someone to the area you just type /region addmember (city name) (playername). So it is basically like the spawn and /warp towns.
