Title: Events announcements? On chat?
Post by: CazualxGrenade on August 23, 2012, 04:47:52 am
Okay guys, this is just a suggestion, but, if you posted on the forums an event(say the prom) and you wanted it to be announced by an admin or so, you can do this command:
/topicfind (Topicname) (your mc username) then the command will try and find your topic. Once it finds it, then it can tell you to check it by having it post the link on your screen, and an admin will look at it. Then they can say if you can have the event announced in broadcast or not.

Does it sound good?

It is good. But it needs coding.
I would say that just a custom broadcast every 30 mins until the date for the event, sounds better.

Not necessary nor needed IMO.

I think the announcements we have noe are annoying...having tons of announcements spamming the thread. No, haha and it would put more work on mods to allow a announcement

Only admins can creade broadcasts. No the mods.

I think once an hour and only admins can allow.
