Title: I, a Trusted member, do not have access to /help?
Post by: bigbeno37 on September 06, 2012, 12:58:30 am
Hey there!

Quite recently, I tried using the help command '/help', and apparently, I do not have permission to do so. I have heard other people report of the same thing and yes, I made sure it was /help, not anything else.

Thanks,
bigbeno37

Yes, the /help is bugged, and it's availible to the mods+ in it. Well, I think. Optical will take a look at this, but he may be busy At the moment.

I asked optical about it, he said he thinks its a MC bug, because its not us.

But why would Bukkit or even MC have anything to do with the permissions?

EDIT: Unless Bukkit has somehow interfered with the permissions and the setting of it. If Optical thinks that it's an MC issue, it probably is then.

It is currently bugged since the /help you used to be able to use listed off your commands, that being said.

You do not have access to the current /help because you do not need access to it. The /help command gives out information on the plugins we are using, therefore, there is no reason why you guys should have it.

What the server seems to do is run the plugin information first (which it did not previously do) then the commands. Since you guys cannot see the plugin information, I assume it tells you that you do not have access.
