Hey there!
So I was looking over a post and Xeadin said that we are getting a new PvP world. So I'm wondering the details of it; Will it be on Hard? Will there be just a single dedicated map? How long ago was this put into effect?

It will be an arena. You wont take your items into it, they will be given at the start of the match and your items replaced at the end.

it's not an arena.
PvP will run alongside the survival experience. users in the survival world may join a queue for a short, competitive PvP match. once the queue for a PvP match is full, users will be stripped of their items, given new ones, and teleported to an instanced and one-time-use PvP world. when the game ends, user inventory will be restored and they will be sent back to the survival world.
the system will likely launch with Spleef and Capture the Flag as game modes to start, with Deathmatch/Team deathmatch/whatever else released later.
there will also be a party system allowing users to queue for a specific game mode as a party, so don't try to suggest it :)

i know nothing of the pvp thing, but all i know is that we will get a new world.

I knew both xD
The pvp world sounds good, but what about a game mode where it spawns players on a medium (200*200?) empty world with only a stone pick and they have to mine + pvp to win (Note: it would probably need a time limit where it goes to sudden death.)

Survival games are boring, there's barely any action.. If you are going to copy any ideas it might as well be the walls where you can make traps and use your brain to win, instead of just lucking out on item finds.

The whole point was that there are no "lucky finds". This whole idea is basically the walls without... Well the walls. Or the preparation time. You can either choose to run straight in (Maybe you're invincible for 2 mins) or you can mine for iron or diamond weapons and armour.

Because it is going to be a (random?) naturally generated map for PvP.

I prefer random :l you learn non generated too quickly, then it is just who can remember it best.

For the LAST TIME, there will not be new world! you will not craft in PVpP it will be strictly fighting.
We are NOT getting a new world for pvp, they will be maps that we make
