♖ BURTHENGATE CASTLE ♖

Inspired by FyreUK, we are currently building a huge castle, possibly the biggest and most ambitious in Opticraft so far. Quality and quantity are both going into this project and thousands of blocks have been used so far. Once the castle has been finished, and if we feel like it, we will open up the castle so you can buy rooms, recieve jobs and live inside the kingdom of Burthengate.

Completion-wise, it is nowhere near done. There is still a lot of external structure to be completed and after the whole of that has been finished work has to start inside on the rooms and decoration. Once it has been totally finished, furnished and everywhere made accessible it should look pretty badass.

The thread will be updated with progress reports as more gets completed, hopefully progress should become a lot quicker - but we will have to see about that... :P
The thread itself will also be updated to look nicer, it's a bit plain at the moment

Well we finished the entrance to the castle (exterior, only the front) and it looks pretty nice. The Towers were a pain but we are starting on the sides now.

What for style is this Castle? It looks like it has a sort of style to me.
Amazing Castle tough! Will there be a sort of RPG too? I spotted a hint in your comment!

Well, it is a castle, there might be a town around it and people might end up living there. Not really going for a RPG feel at the moment but more of just a building right now, a place to live later and a place to have fun/earn money for us or them later later on (if we can be bothered to run that (probably not)) :P

It's a personal project, nothing official.

I also updated the statistics and added a cock-up counter on the first post as we seem to be failing a lot recently while building it...

Updated the pictures with a new part of the castle we got finished. The exterior is way over half way done by now I would think.

An update on this, the exterior is now finished (eventually).
Will upload some images a bit later.
