Title: Can you make a public chest in a protected region? if so how?
Post by: tiggy26668 on October 15, 2012, 09:35:15 pm
so i got this chest i want to make public, and it's within my project protection.

I've already tried the obvious
/cpublic - doesn't work
/unlock - doesn't work
and even /cmodify name doesn't let them open it

i feel like i'm being a /fail and missing something.....

is it really impossible to make a public chest without explicitly adding everyone on the server to the protected region?

anyone know?

/cremove will remove the locks, but people still most likely won't be able to open it because it is inside the protected area.

yea it seems none of the /lwc commands have any effect they just get overwritten by the world guard protection

i wonder if there's a flag for worldguard that would allow it to default back to /lwc

something stupid like setting a flag for chest protection to false, not entirely sure what all the flags are i'll have to take a look at the list

*edit* i'm pretty sure the problem is the flag "chest-access" would u mind switching it for me when u have a moment so i can test it nyssa?

and the answer was.....

the flag "chest-access", for future reference disabling it on the region lets the /lwc protection take over again, in case anyone else has a similar situation

thanks again nyssa for fixing it for me =D
