I'm no sure if there is a thread about this already but what version did you buy minecraft in?

I personally joined in Beta 1.8. What about you?

I joined into 0.30 :P (classic) but for smp whatever update was out on 2/27/12

Somewhere between beta 1.2 and 1.3 although I didn't join opti till 1.4.

Minecraft beta 1.8, November 2011 joined opti in may after ther 1.2.5 update, I think, wow it's been a lllllooooonnnnnggggggg time

I joined minecraft in BETA 1.3 but never played opticraft (or other servers) till what I think was 1.1
