Considering it mentioned connected textures, is it the texture pack?

I switched back to vanilla texture and it didn't crash. I guess i'll report the crash to the texture pack author.

FALSE edit: TRUE. optifine does some weird stuff to actual connected textures and my initial google search returned results related to the mod linked below, but he doesn't necessarily have it.
you are using the connected textures mod here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/228862-125connected-textures-mod-v141/
the connected textures mod does not support random texture packs, only some texture packs made specifically with the mod in mind. the vanilla texture pack is supported, the one you tried to use is not.
while i personally don't care as this is a harmless mod, it's still opticrafts policy to not allow mods at all.
LordoftheBlock: your house has some block that caused a bug in the connected textures mod and crashed him. it has nothing to do with your house or you personally.
