Title: Mob Culling?

Is it still like turned on? Is the mob culling system still in place? I'm curious because i just built a very efficent enderman farm and was wondering, if the culling system is still in place, how long i had before they despawned. Thanks

The culling system is still on, but less aggressive from what I've heard.

what is this "mob culling" system, is it some sort of restriction against spawners?

somewhat correct, i believe an x amount of mobs will die in a 2x2 or 4x4 area.
