Title: Help!!

My minecraft client, won't load! It's stuck on the "update" thing when you click on minecraft when you log in... Anyone have a link that can help me or knows how to fix it? PLEASE! -Sour

Locate your minecraft folder and delete it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViYXRNml1c8
Make sure you copy and paste all your saves to your desktop.
Using the launcher, download the game again.

I don't think you followed my directions switching back to 1.4.2.
1) Download the minecraft.jar
2) Go to the minecraft folder,bin, rename your other minecraft.jar
3) Paste the new one
4) If needed, rename the new one to minecraft
bam! Also, if that didn't work, you should still be able to play in the browser
