I know TNT is disabled and I believe it should stay that way, but It is an excellent way of clearing land. Since it is such a good way of clearing land, I think we should do an exchange. Perhaps if you make the TNT and give it to a someone with world edit they will just clear out a certain number of blocks per TNT. I played around with the TNT and found 1 block by itself will destroy 26 blocks of stone which has a blast resistance (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Explosion#Blast_Resistance) of 30. Since stone his greater or equal to almost every block in the over world, except obsidian, I believe 26 blocks per TNT seems reasonable if this would be a possibility. I will continue researching the effects of TNT and post what I find.

Well, let's examine that, shall we?
Ops don't grow on trees, and if this idea goes through, you think all the ops and above, that we have as of right now, are gonna be able to get to every single person requesting Block clearing?
The amount of requests that we get for grief, alone, is more than enough for us.

What if people can craft blocks of tnt and they only destroyed natural blocks not blocks people have placed

tnt makes ugliness lol, and besides, how would it tell the difference? Would it have logblock history implemented? Lol that would be so hard to code, and also I like my landscape that I didn't touch, why let tnt blow it up?

There are a million things wrong with this idea here:
1. If this happens, trolls are going to make your area around your house either
A. A death trap
B. Ugly as hell and completely exploded.
2. Honestly, think more about it. How could you maybe improve this idea?

I don't think this suggestion will get anywhere. Just get some players you trust to help you mine and clear out land.

Not sure if this is possible or not but, If tnt only blasted in a perfect square I believe it would keep it clean, as well as useful, But edit it to only destroy natural blocks outside of 10 Blocks form any block placed by a player.
Could this be done in the form of a plugin?

logblock already can detect explosions, but I don't think it specifies a user, I think it's just user:#tnt or user:#explosion

Why, It's a GREAAAAT idea! Not only will people be able to overload the server with unimaginable stacks of tnt going of at once, ESPECIALLY with the HIIIIIIIGH amount of people on the server!
But also, it will give us more excuses to "Accidently" blow people's properties up, or "Accidently" launch TNT cannons at people's creations, without logblock actually figuring out who was reponsible! Why, it's a great idea opticraft!
But with this idea, we can make operators and admins work triple as hard, to serve us, the lazy people who want to clear land easily, while having them baby-sit us while we do it!

Well my idea wasn't to let people use TNT, If you go back I said that I wanted to allow people to trade in TNT to ops in exchange they would clear land using world edit. I never said we should allow TNT.

Then this is not TNT mining, this is giving operators a useless resource in exchange for their WorldEdit. So basically, it's just asking for someone to WE a large area.

Pretty much except TNT isn't normally useless just on opticraft it is.
