Title: MOTD Manager
Post by: Spyow on January 05, 2013, 11:40:49 pm
Hey.

So basically MOTD manager is a plugin that allows you to set coloured motd's.

When you click on multiplayer, it comes up with "Opticraft 1.4.6 SMP" in Gray.

You can set it so it makes random ones everytime you join and you can get colour.

I'll upload some screenies

optical can just set the colors via his cPanel without using that plugin, it's just a simple replacement of using '%e' instead of '&e' in the MOTD space.
This wouldn't be needed, it's just a colored MOTD that you're going to see for just like 2 seconds.

Lol, who cares? I don't go click Multiplayer and go ":O WHOOOAAAAAA It's so frickin pretty! It is in damn COLORS! Wow!"

What I do- "I really wish the frickin Searching for LAN wasn't always in the way, but whatever. Oh look at that. It's only been five seconds and I'm back to Opticraft. Back in my happy place."

In short - Isn't necessary, but if optical feels like it, go ahead.

I don't have it on my server... I tried using &a etc on the most but it fails, and you can add new ones with commands in-game. Say you did /motd add &a&oWelcome to opticraft, and then /motd add Hi. it would range between the two, you can make slanted text rtf.
