Before anyone asks, it does spawn witches but at a very slow rate at the moment. I've cleared a lot of land and lit a lot of the caves but more work needs to be done on that. The youtube guide mentioned above will tell you how to improve the farm.

Protection stones not included in the price.

I was going to remove the home when sold. I'm sure we can make a deal but it's not going to be included in the auctioning.

Part of the reason I'm selling it is because I need to spend more time on my town and less on other projects, so no, but I can show you what needs to be done.

Witches drop 0-2 gunpowder/redstone/glowstone dust/sugar/sticks/glass bottles/spider eyes
And when you kill it directly with a sword / bow it will drop with a rare change a fire resistance/potion of swiftness/potion of healing
U kinda beat me there  >:(

25k if you are POSITIVE it spawns. Only if you show me a youtube video OF IT SPAWNING with PROOF you are on opti.

No I'm not going to make a video of the spawning. It seems like the spawnrate has gone down even more from low to very low. I don't know what the server is doing to witch spawns or spawns in general but it's should spawn witches at a fast rate now and it doesn't. The witch spawn platforms are the only dark spots in the area, that I know of, of course there could be some hidden cave.

So I found some more unlit caves and lit them up, I came back up top and got this lovely screenie:

The reason why you are getting so few witches is probably because of the mob cap. If the Youtube video was made in SSP, it explains why you are having so few spawns.
