Title: Ender dragons are back

Hey,

The server has been updated, and one of the majorish features worth a mention is that ender dragons on the Member and new Guest world ender realms will now respawn every couple hours after being slain. They still drop an egg, but will not create portals back to the main world like they do naturally.

Crap, so does this mean that any ender farms within the end will be damaged by the enderdragon when it spawns?

Go for the one in the Memberworld. I don't know if the border for the new guest world was fixed, but when I went to find the end there, it was outside the world border.

is it allowed to keep the end for yourself by pssing the portal and letting noone enter

I've been waiting in the member end/visiting it regularly for most of the day since I woke up. I still haven't seen any dragons, nor has anyone I spoke to heard about/seen/killed one.

I could be wrong, but I don't think this is working :L

There won't be a dragon on the old guest world end, so any farms and things there should be fine.
There will also be an end portal on the new guest world shortly.

Just to clarify, an enderdragon exp farm is impossible. Any non-end blocks will be destroyed and all end blocks will be flown through. The only possible way of auto-killing it would be to place thousands of water blocks at level 256, and I don't think our administration would be very happy about that.

I think there will probably just be a portal created inside the current guest world borders, no extending them any time soon :p That's from what I've heard.

I'd recommend building it inside the spawn castle for ease of access, but it's up to you.

Is this just for the guest End - not Member End?   The reason i'm asking is that there's some building going on in the member End.  I wasn't sure if I can do that or not.

I would tend to agree can. We all try and refrain from building in the new guest world end do to the fact we could use one open area to hunt the dragon. I was just in the member end and people are making really random towers and no offense but really bad houses. It is going to start to look like the old guest end. I just purpose keep one end clean of builds.

Side note: People random 1x1 towers are considered grief. break them after you use them.

There are a million nether portals with a million places for Minecraft to put one in the nether.

Yes. Even though I sat there for 6 hours and the dragon didn't spawn, that's how long it takes to spawn.

I see a slight problem. You know the bedrock fountian shaped thing that spawns when you kill it? Well after a month or two of killing the dagon 4 times a day, those things will be EVERYWHERE. Will they be destroyed by Admins and/or ops?

well, the end has been dystroyed, there is no longer a good area to kill the dragon, and much of the end is protected making it impossible to get the egg once you have killed the dragon, i truely believe that there should be an end only for the killing of the dragon, not for building.

Why the hell does everyone say "How to" do something? It's "How do you".

Booorad, I don't think that's a big enough reason to create an entirely new end, which in turn would require an entirely new world. I understand your frustration, but I doubt this will ever happen.

i think that there should be a rule that no lapis+ psses are aloud to be placed in the end

there is already so little land in there, and now +/- 80% of it is protected by psses

unlike some people i reckon it's a good enough reason, either that or there is
no point in having the ender dragon respawn. Or mabye intstead of having a
new end you could make a plugin that will make protection stones have no
affect on dragon eggs unless the egg is placed by a player.
