Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know when I was just logging in, I saw on Reddit that Jeb posted 1.4.7 is coming!
(lol im kinda like Paul Revere Minecraft Version)

Both. From what I know is that they're adding Redstone Blocks, And Light Sensors. I know of no bug fixes tho, and actually Jeb posted it on Twitter
EDIT: I found what is coming on the Mojang Website:
Redstones circuits are more consistent and pistons should be more stable
Added the Redstone Comparator block (this replaces the Capacitor we talked about at Minecon)
Added the Daylight Detector block
Added a Hopper block (still work in progress)
Added a chest that activates redstone
Added weighted pressure plates that detect item stacks
Added Block of Redstone block (works as a pushable redstone torch)
Added a new ore to the Nether
Added a Nether Brick item for crafting Nether Brick blocks
A whole bunch of other stuff… Try for instance double-clicking items, or drag-placing them, in the inventory

There will, most likely, be bug fixes that come along with this update, and many others. What the fixes will be, we shall find out tomorrow.
All the new features from 13w01a/b will be in the 1.4.7 update, which does include the Nether Quartz, and any other features that they decide to include.

With all of these new updates, it doesn't seem like it will be compatible with 1.4.6 servers. Should there be an announcement made not to update to 1.4.7 until further notice?

I think those posts are made when the update actually comes out, not before. But as a rule of thumb always opt to click 'not now' on the update screen until you cannot join the server

Guys, T-Flip flops will not work in the new update.
I have found a way to make 1 in the 1.4.7 update.
It is a Sturdy T-Flip Flop so It will be compadible with the new update
I will make one and show you In-game. =)

Lol don't know what a T-Flip Flop eh?
Well I will explain: A T-Flip Flop is a design that lets a button act like a lever. It will Power forever intill you press the button again. This is usful because If you make a hidden door and can't place a button to get out of your secret door then you can keep it open forever intill you press the same button.
The 1.4.7 update will not allow the old T-Flip Flops to work anymore. But this design is stable enough to make it work. =)

They are updating this game too fast tbh, it's becoming a runescape.

Actually, Just now, I tested with my launcher, Updated, and it worked. It's all compatible
