I have recently discover a glitch with Minecraft, probably not Opticraft's problem but anyway. You will now take damage if you jump from a high height and land in 1 block of water, so it will affect sky diving. There's another one too, when I jump off my diving board into the sea sometimes I get teleported back up to the board when I dive and take lots of damage and maybe die. I know that this is not Opticraft's problem but I just want people to be aware of this so they don't die in the future.
Kind regards,

The 1 block of water thing isn't a glitch. I believe that it is 16 blocks of fall (and landing in 1 block of water) before you start to take damage (But I could be wrong).
The 2nd thing sounds like a problem with anti-cheat plugins, but again, I could be wrong.

Thats what I think, but it used to be if you fall in any water you will survive.
-
Probably just lag as this happens on vannila aswell.

No, if you fell in one block deep of water, you would take damage from a certain height and above like claw said, the no damage height is 2 blocks and it's always been that way.

Well, lately for me, whenever I jump fall on water/signs/layer of water on signs I die from fall damage :-\
But the one block of water thing is natural because really, one layer isn't enough to slow your momentum down much

Ok so one is fine, but what about the teleporting thingy.

I've had that problem before. Probably just some lag. Nothing really you can do about it.

Guys, there is a glitch. I was trying to leave a platform for 5 mins, the other day, and I was returning back to the platform.

The water thing is intended. You now need a safety net of 4 blocks of water to keep you 100% alive when jumping from any height. Source: MinecraftWiki (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Water#BASE_Jumping)

It's happened to me to. I jump, and fall and take two hearts damage.
Then I'm teleported back up where I started and fall again. -2 hearts.
Then repeat until dead.... Such bullshit.

Why not teleport out? Once you're in a glitch and continuously taking damage wouldn't it just be a natural reaction to get out? It's like a candle burning your finger, you're not going to keep it there.

but then you still take the fall damage when you teleport to the /home.
Plus it wasn't until the second fall that I realized I was glitching so -4 hearts, and I was already down 2 hearts which had not healed because my hunger was low.

2nd thing happens alot to me too.Probably a sky fall(no not the movie...or the song)glitch.search it up.i will soon

Its an anti cheat thing, chill. If you get stuck in a spot where you cannot walk forward, go around it. It will be you cannot walk from x 10 z10 to x11 to z10 for a little, but walking through the "glitch spot" from other directions works. This usually happens while sprint jumping on slabs, stairs, beds and chests or a downhill. Dont worry, i believe anticheat picks up you are trying to fly because you are moving quickly and you y axis is not at the right level. To combat flyers, the plugin makes an invisible wall in that direction on that block.

I have video evidence of the falling/teleporting glitch. You can see it in this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mv4v4X9LI5M&feature=share&list=UUA94Yp2aOiR_fmdJ2LWvOEg) video. The glitch happens at about 4:45.

you are wrong.
its possible to take fall damage in 2 blocks of water.
it just depends on falling height

The minecraft falling rule is 1 block deep of water counteracts 16 blocks of fall distance. If you fall 32 blocks and land in a 1 block height of water then you will take the damage equivalent of falling 16 blocks since 32(jump height) - 16(taken away by the 1 block high of water) = 16.
