I have created an original vending machine design and have decided to debut it on Opticraft! It has some features that I haven't seen created ANYWHERE else... and I am still looking to improve upon it!
As of now, it:
- only accepts ONE type of input as payment
- stops taking input once it has run out of stock to give
- is programmable to vend at a ratio of 1:1-1:8 (output:input)
- it's stock holding is infinitely expandable
You can go to '/home mcoon1' to see the creation. Here, I have created the prototype vending machine and programmed it to take in pieces of dirt and output 1/4 the amount of cobblestone (later this will be changed to take in gold nuggets and output something valuable). Feel free to test out the machine and make any suggestions that you think would improve it!

I thought it was a very cool and creative mechanism. Jcgaming, you shouldn't shoot down people like that, if you don't like that he's done this, just don't post anything.

Ahhh... but it's the features that make it great, not to general concept.

It's okay. I had worded my post rather ambiguously... he was probably just confused as to what I meant.

Great features :D I'd like to look at it, I've got a X:X ratio if you wanna collaborate maybe.

How were you achieving this? I was using an AND-gate and a clock made out of repeaters... but on the server it tends to mess up when you repeatedly load/unload the chunk that it is in.
