Title: How do i get onto irc!

I don't know how to get onto irc

go to rizon.net and enter the channel : #opticraft-smp and your nickname. normally the port is already entered. if you want to get on irc by another way than rizon.net, youll need to provide the server too : rizon.net

Although _pORKCHOPS said it, here it is again, a bit clearer:

First off visit the website, https://qchat.rizon.net/

Once you are there, enter your nickname in, which is usually your minecraft name, but can be anything you want also.  But it's just easier if it's your name so that people will know and recognise you.

Then you enter the channel name.  Opticraft's channel name is: #opticraft-smp

The password is blank or covered over, since you have the choice to enter your password later.

Now the last thing to do, the auth box.  You leave it blank, I dunno what it does or means, but just leave it blank.


All that is left is to click connect.

I'm copying and pasting it but it still doesn't work

there is no password, just enter a nickname, and #opticraft-smp for the channel

That happened to me too. You need to highlight the part of the code that is all just jumbled letters. Don't include the "/msg Nickserv" or whatever. Just highlight and copy the jumbled letter part and paste it in the box asking for a code. I figured it out that way.

when the box pop out asking for a code just click the x on top to close it. like we said earlier, you dont need a code.
