Heya folks,
I recently purchased an ATI Radeon HD 6450. It came with MSI afterburner installed. When I open MSI afterburner, it looks like this.
Now I have a few questions. Considering this card isn't very optimized for gaming, I was wonder if:
1) I could increase the memory clock and the core clock without going over power supply limit and accidently frying my GPU
2) If this is overall "safe"
If you need my power supply, I will have to look at it later.
Thanks, liek

Before you go overclocking anything, do a benchmark test, I recommend Furmark http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/. Pay attention to the temps at the bottom, you don't want to go over 48C. (120F.) If you are under that, close the benchmark and slowly increase the clock sliders, running the benchmark every few times you increase it. If you start to see artifacts, TURN DOWN THE SLIDERS!! As for your PSU, if you have 400w+ you should be safe.

I told you multiple times that its not worth the risk. And your psu (450w) is fine for that card even with overclocking.

American Fix: Put everything to max and slap a Chevy logo on it, you'll be fine.
