It sucks ass, really

The font is unreadable and they disabled the function to select names while pressing tab..

You mean what has been positively changed? Well, there are timestamps on the messages now... As it you need those. And you can see in which world you are now, in the top right corner. Again, quite useless.

Uhm, Terre, you only uploaded the wom.exe, I need the native and lib folder too. Why don't they keep the older versions uploaded somewhere -.- I still liked the one most, where you could reload and go back to the serverscreen without having to quit :/

They should give you the option tho turn those "useless" features on or off and allow for font changes at the least.  I heard the new WoM allowed for higher textures is that true?

Yeah I downloaded the new version an hour or two after it came out.  The fonts are awful, I don't know why they'd switch from a large and easy to read font to a smaller one.  About five minutes into using it, it crashed on me. I'll stick with the old one, lol.

As far as new features go, I was watching a video and it looks like you can download the textures a server is using when you join and see them as the server owners intended, which looks kinda neat and all I guess.

Just for records, the above link will initiate the download of the old wom client (before this new one).
Also: I actually decompiled and modified the wom source code, but have yet found out how to recompile it... :)

You can replace the images in minecraft.jar for a different texture if that's what you mean tbpb
