Title: I have found a Virus on My com.

I have found this Virus on my computer. ehh My com won't let me do anything exept for playing one single game. Need For Speed. (No idea why). Ehh I have tryed alor of things lately but none of them worked. So I think i'm goind to buy a new computer within 2 weeks. So see ya all at that time!

 why don't you just install windows, or what ever your running on, again???

I have already tryed that.. The Virus is blocking it. So it's not possible to reinstall it:(

if u insert the windows cd and boot from it in dos you can clear the disks
the virus cant block that (atleast not with the curren knowlege, only hardcore pros can do that)
even i can't screw up dos, sure we can screw with dos, but that has no influence on dos itself, if you screw up dos you can't make adjustments, so the hacker/ virus also couldn't do anything anymore AND windows wouldon't run anymore at all

Just reboot your computer in recovery mode and do a system restore.

with my toshiba... i insert backup disk.... it formats and re-installs windows

No known virus can stop you from re installing windows.

If all else fails, get a new hard drive and install windows on that. You will lose everything tho.

Then he should buy a Disk-on-key and put all the important data on it.

Once he restarts the computer he should put it back on the computer and put back the data.

Restart in safemode. The virus will not be running. You will then me able to install malwarebytes and remove it. http://www.malwarebytes.org/

to boot into safe mode, press F8 during boot procedure (if you don't know when to do it, just spam it.)

Thx for all the advices ! Maybe the suggestion opti had could have worked i'll see it on tomorrow:D Hopw to see you on Classic!

This is the best way to do it, its what i have had to do twice. And if malwarebytes doesn't kill it (happened to me) Use combofix, that thing seems to kill every thing lol
