Briefly describe all your creations: 1) A family portrait sprite of Usagi, Chibiusa, and Mamoru on Sailor Moon.
2) Super Shotgun from Doom
3) Torture victim from Higurashi
4) Hand firing an energy ball with a sort of muscle and tissue home inside.

I think you need more than just 2 great sprites, you should add more 3D objects.

He has a point. Try your hand at more 3d builds, and make 'em pretty ;)
